The 2024 election cycle is just around the corner, and that means news! We understand the world and make important choices based on the news we consume – but how do we know whether it’s really true?

Tonight, join professional journalists Alex Popichak and Nicole Pampena for an hands-on guide to understanding the news. How do journalists confirm that their facts are accurate? How can you recognize fake news, biased opinions, and deliberate misinformation? We’ll take a look at several real examples of true, fake, and biased news to test our news acumen.
