Join us for a day of all-ages fun as we have a blast with our third annual Earth Day celebration, sponsored by Landau Building Company!
We’ll spend the day exploring nature and ecology, with guests from the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden; Worm Return composting worms; crafts and photos with Attawheed Islamic Center; ham radio demos with the W3KWH Steel City Amateur Radio Club; crafts and face painting with Carnegie Borough; outdoor games designed by Carlynton student; and a brand-new sidewalk hopscotch course. Plus, we’re launching out brand new seed library: check out some seeds, take them home and grow them, then save the new seeds from your plants and return them to the library for next year!
Bring your appetite: community food vendors will be on hand with delicious treats. And at 2:15 PM, the festivities conclude with a free outdoor concert from Miss Freddye’s Home Cookin’ Band!
