The iconic terra cotta brick building with dark brown awnings has been at the corner of Broadway and E. Main for 30 years now. Mention white pizza and most people say “PaPa Js”. PaPa Js has been such a prominent fixture in Carnegie that as all Pittsburghers do, we use them to give directions. In Pittsburgh that is quite an honor. They offer wonderful Italian dishes, pizza, bread and homemade desserts. Their Garden Piazza that was added on a few years ago is a meeting spot for many during the monthly Carnegie Crawls. Owner, Michael Troiani is very generous with complimentary pastas, pizza and jazz which starts later in the evening after the Crawl is winding down. PaPa Js is busy with special events, happy hours and long time lunch & dinner clients who all have a favorite dish.

PaPa Js has been a very big supporter of the Carnegie community over the years. They truly know how to give back. Let’s thank them for supporting Carnegie for 30 years and wish them another 30 years and beyond!!
