Join us for the 5th annual
The Second Friday of Every Month
The Carnegie Crawl is an annual, family-friendly event that occurs the second Friday of each month from May to October. Commencing in the evening, the Crawl starts at 5pm and ends at 9pm, but several restaurants stay open late with entertainment, including Riley’s Pour House, PaPa J’s and Apis. The participating businesses include Bakn (335 E. Main St) to Esencia Dance Studio (21 E. Main St) with many businesses in between. See the map for all participants or just look for the snail in the window. Get a Crawl flyer at one of the participating businesses to see Crawl specials.
NEW THIS YEAR– PaPa J’s Garden Piazza will be sponsoring jazz from 9p-midnight. The kitchen will stay open late as well. Big thank you to Michael Troiani, Jeff Stephan and John Butera for organizing:
Let’s welcome Reggie Watkins, Richie Cole, Samantha St. John, Christoper McGraw, Kyle Andrews and Howard Alexander to the Crawl!!
CARL HAS A NEW LOOK! Carl has a sleek new look and the background on his signs is now the Carnegie “brand”, the Andrew Carnegie Plaid! He is really into social media and is on Instagram. The voice behind the new hip and cool Carl is Lauren (“Pickles” The Intern) Brennan. She will be seen with Carl during the Crawls. Get a picture with Carl and put it on Instagram. Stay tuned, more surprises to come with our mascot!
Map and Participants
After the shops close at nine, many people linger at the several establishments to hear live music. The participating businesses have special deals and refreshments, and some even have entertainment. The restaurants offer happy hours and/or dinner specials.
Look for Carl The Snail in the window of participating businesses.
Each Crawl is different. You may find singers in the streets or entire bands. The Pittsburgh Party Pedaler transported happy revelers up and down E. Main Street at the May and October Crawls last year. Check Carnegie’s Happening on Facebook for more details closer to each Crawl.
