The CCDC works to grow and develop the business district of Carnegie. In previous years the CCDC offered business attraction and retention grants along with facade grants for the main street businesses. Today, the CCDC helps market Carnegie through social media, the Crawl, business and building owner meetings (BBOC) and educates new business and building owners on what’s happening in the community. The CCDC belongs to the Allegheny Together program along with the Borough of Carnegie. Through this program zoning, wayfinding, and improvement of the business district are all major priorities.
